So Easy Sugar-Free Homemade Berry Jamboree

I don't even know how I can call this a recipe because its so easy. Once you do it one time you will never need a recipe again and you will know how to make this any time, just the way you like it.

The recipe is given in stages. At the syrup stage, it is perfect for using on my

3-ingredient (gluten-free) pancakes and waffles, as a berry compote for your oatmeal or a topping or mix-in for "nice" cream. In stage 2, you add the chia seeds and it thickens up, and transforms into a jam for toast.

Vegan Cooking Level: Beginner


Any fresh or frozen berries, approximately 2-3 cups

Pure Maple Syrup, 2-3 tbsps.

1 tbsp. chia seeds

How to

Step 1. Pour berries in a pan

Step 2: Let simmer on medium heat until they begin to melt and break down, releasing their liquid. Reduce heat to low simmer. Mash with a potato masher or a fork when they are soft enough.
